7 Tips for the Holidays

@EternityHealthMD will be sharing some tips for you to enjoy your #Holidays in a healthy and fun way. Stay active, enjoy your loved ones, and take some time for yourself.

1- RUN AROUND FOR 15 MINUTES.

Be #ACTIVE! Run around for 15 minutes. Make sure you break a sweat EVERY DAY to release toxins, and burn off some extra calories.

2- EAT BEFORE GOING OUT

If you’re planning on going out after work, or if you are having a late night meet up with friends, remember, eat before going out. Whenever we go out, we are burning extra calories and spending extra energy. Sometimes we have a few drinks with friends too. Having a full stomach will help us have more energy and will nourish our body.

3- DON’T SKIP BREAKFAST

We always hear: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.“ Do you know why? We usually eat 1-3 hours before going to sleep, and we usually sleep between 6-8 hours. When we wake up, we could have been fasting for up to 11 hours. This is the reason breakfast is so important.

4- HAVE A COUPLE OF DRINKS

One or two drinks with loved ones this holiday season will not interfere with your training and productivity. This time of the year is about sharing and spending time with the people closest to us. Have a couple drinks. Enjoy all the hard work you’ve put in this year. Celebrating is a part of life.

5- GET A MASSAGE

We know times get tough and stressful. Make time for yourself. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a soothing experience. Your body and mind will thank you.

6- ALTERNATE COCKTAILS WITH WATER

If you’re planning on having a few drinks with your holiday meals, don’t forget to alternate them with water. Avoid dehydration and stay away from a nasty hangover.

7- MAKE A WISH LIST

Hopefully by now you’ve already received all the gifts you were waiting for… It’s time start on your wish list for 2017.

May all your goals be achieved this upcoming year!
