Sermorelin/GHRP-2/Theanine is the next level of therapy available to our practitioners in our line of Sermorelin compounds. It is formulated to enhance the body’s natural production of human growth hormone while potentially having a calming effect. This is due to the introduction of Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 2 (GHRP‐2) and Theanine to the Sermorelin compound.
Theanine is an amino acid commonly found in green tea, which is used for anxiety. It is thought that theanine may work for anxiety by increasing levels of GABA and serotonin. Stress hormones known as glucocorticoids are activated by both stress and depression. In turn, they cause medical imbalances in brain chemistry that interfere with mood and memory. Theanine also suppresses glucocorticoids, and is one of the few dietary supplements that cross the blood-brain barrier.
By adding Sermorelin to your routine, it will stimulate the pituitary gland in the base of the brain to release Human Growth Hormone (HGH). GHRP-2 is a synthetic peptide that directly stimulates the pituitary gland to produce more Human Growth Hormone. Additionally, GHRP-2 stimulates the hypothalamus to release natural produced GHRH. Most importantly, GHRP-2 works on separate receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary resulting in dual site action. When using Sermorelin and GHRP-2 together under medical supervision, Sermorelin GT should achieve a high level of both the production and release of endogenous GH most likely resulting in increasing the body’s natural Human Growth Hormone levels.
Although Human Growth Hormone has these favorable effects, too much Human Growth Hormone can increase the thickness of bones of the jaw, fingers and toes, can cause muscle weakness, insulin resistance or even a rare form of type-2 diabetes, and reduced sexual function. Conversely, not having enough Human Growth Hormone is equally unfavorable because it can lead to short stature (in children), reduced muscle mass/strength, insulin resistance, depression, decreased concentration/loss of memory, and even reduced bone mass/strength. Due to the above, it is important to have your IGF-1 and Human Growth Hormone levels monitored throughout therapy.
All ingredients of Sermorelin GT have been found to have a very good stable profile. It is given as a subcutaneous injection (just under the skin) via a small syringe once a day. Sermorelin GT’s most commonly reported side effect is mild injection site pain. Sermorelin should only be used with medical supervision.
By increasing natural production of Human Growth Hormone, as well as the IGF-1 level, studies have shown that GHRP-2 yield the following benefits:
- Increased lean body mass
- Reduced body fat
- Increased bone density
- Increased muscle mass
- Regeneration of nerve tissues
- Lessen the effects of low testosterone
- Strengthened immune system
- Increased libido
- Increased energy, endurance, and vitality
- Strengthened cardiovascular system
- Improved sleep patterns
- Decreased depression
- Improved skin elasticity
- Increased level of fitness
